Caroline Sherrer is a self taught oil painter based in Montgomery, AL. She describes her work as "nostalgic realism," and is drawn to familiar subjects from around the home and from nature. She enjoys painting well-loved objects that tell a story; such as an old rotary phone, a silverware set, or brass trinkets, and she often incorporates bright color and pattern to her paintings to bring them a fresh new life and voice.
