2/3 The Stag By Chelsea Demarest | Hand-carved Block Print | 8.26x6.25

Each block print is hand carved on either rubber or linoleum.  They’re limited series, numbered, and signed.  You can see the print number in the bottom left corner - ¼ means it is the first print of four total.  Each is printed onto handmade paper and some are also floated onto natural fiber paper (ex. banana leaves, rainforest leaves, or mango leaves).  Each bug has a unique narrative that is written about it.

The Stag: He wears his crown like a secret only the forest understands, moving softly through the tangle of leaves and light. There is no rush in him, only a quiet certainty—as if he knows exactly who he is and where he belongs.
