2/7 Palmetto Bug By Chelsea Demarest | Original Block Print | 9x7

Each block print is hand carved on either rubber or linoleum.  They’re limited series, numbered, and signed.  You can see the print number in the bottom left corner - ¼ means it is the first print of four total.  Each is printed onto handmade paper and some are also floated onto natural fiber paper (ex. banana leaves, rainforest leaves, or mango leaves).  Each bug has a unique narrative that is written about it.

Palmetto Bug: He moves like a flicker between worlds, part shadow, part story no one wants to hear. Misread as menace, he simply follows the quiet pull of survival, leaving behind nothing but the echo of a moment too quickly judged.
